4 bedroom Chalet with jacuzzi / hot tub, log fire, and wi-fi

A stylish Haute-Savoire 18th century farmhouse transformed into a modern chalet just 1 hour 10 minutes from Geneva.

This 4 bedroom all en suite "farmhouse for all seasons", is situated in arguably the most sought after valley in the Porte du Soleil. It feels peaceful like rural France and yet is only 500m from the Nyon Telepherique which provides easy access to Les Gets and Morzine ski areas and is just 2 minutes drive from the traditional Savoyard town of Morzine that has outstanding facilities and a wonderful choice of all year round activities.

Cosy and spacious, this 4 level "home from home" includes a sunken hot tub, a "Cave" with external access for ski equipment and bicycles, a spacious "Salon" with the original exposed Oak beams and a stunning stone fireplace. A large sliding glass door equipped with an electric shutter opens out onto a long balcony providing extraordinary mountain vistas.

4 bedrooms comfortably sleep 10, and all bedrooms are ensuite, or have private bathroom facilities. Each bedroom has a flat screen tv with DVD players, and two rooms also offer UK Freeview channels.
The large Salon has plenty of games, books, dvds, and a large tv with UK freeview, so plenty to keep everyone entertained.

In Winter, every hour a free bus service approximately 90 metres from the front door transports you to a variety of lifts and surrounding towns including Avoriaz where there is access to the vast 650km of exhilarating pistes. Use of the chalet vehicle, a Citroen Jumpy 9 seater van, is also included in the price and available for guests to use if they so wish, with prior arrangement. The Chalet is available to rent as a whole in the winter season.

In Summer an exceptional environment of flora, fauna and adventure awaits; Summit vistas, swimming, tennis, "bearded vultures" soaring above, mountain cycling, via ferrata, golf, horse riding, canoeing the rapids of the River Dranse, fishing or simply idling the time away with a bottle of wine and local cheese as you immerse yourself in the local culture. Mt Blanc's spectacular landscapes are just 30 minutes away with sailing and water sports available on nearby Lake Annecy or Leman where the spa town "Evian" has thermal treatments for visitors. The "Tour de France" again passed through Morzine on the 23rd July, 2016. In the Summer the chalet is available on a self catered or B&B basis by the room, and is perfect for families, or couples, long or short breaks.

Catering options are available, from fully catered weeks, to just evening meals, just ask and we can cater to any group or budget.
