A lovingly restored 19th century Savoyard farmhouse sleeping up to 19, The Retreat luxury chalet combines rustic charm, modern style and state-of-the-art facilities. Set in a beautiful rural hamlet, just 4 minutes from picturesque Morzine, The Retreat is a convenient one-hour drive from Geneva airport. Ideal for groups of friends and also an ideal family ski chalet for those with children, The Retreat luxury chalet is the perfect place to get away to for a winter ski holiday or a summer break.
The Retreat luxury chalet has been styled with a mix of traditional workmanship, contemporary design and original features, such as old wooden beams and stone walls. The marriage of old and new creates the perfect character chalet with a modern feel. The chalet has been designed to create a cosy, convenient and stylish “home from home” in this luxury Alpine chalet.
The Retreat was created by Beth and Graham Smith. After 5 years of hard work on a derelict 300-year-old Savoyard farmhouse, The Retreat luxury chalet in Morzine came to life. Since then, we have holidayed there every year, both for winter ski holidays and for summer mountain bike holidays. Why? For us, there is nowhere like it. It gives our holiday the perfect mix of rural and town life and was designed to encompass all the things that make our stays feel luxurious and special.
Built by local craftsmen with traditional materials and finished with modern interiors, there’s nothing not to like about this extremely stylish chalet. Set in a beautiful rural hamlet, just 4 minutes from picturesque Morzine, The Retreat is a convenient one-hour drive from Geneva airport. In the winter, The Retreat’s enviable location provides easy access to Ardent, the most convenient access point into the heart of the best skiing in the area.
