Chalet Les Jumelles is a six bedroom, luxurious chalet just a short walk away from Chamonix town centre. All bedrooms are ensuite and there is a spacious sitting / dining area with fantastic views of Mont Blanc. In the Winter we let the chalet as a unit on a catered basis, in the summer we let it for self catering weeks.

In a short time it has proved a tremendous success - both for corporate groups and groups of individuals seeking a luxurious chalet break. Only an hour away from Geneva airport, Chalet les Jumelles is an ideal base for both weekend and longer breaks.

For your winter break, Chalet Les Jumelles offers a cosy, luxurious setting. Relax after a hard days skiing by our open fire, with a glass of wine and a fantastic view over the Mont Blanc.

We know that on a chalet break, service and attention to detail really matter. Our Chalet staff are carefully selected and trained to ensure that you have a really fantastic, hassle free stay.

From the moment you arrive at Geneva airport one of the staff will be there to meet you, transfer you to the chalet and provide you with all of the local knowledge and information you need to start the weekend. This includes taking you to the ski and boot hire shop, organising your ski passes and booking anything else such as lessons or lunch time restaurants. They will also be on hand to cater for you throughout your stay and to take you to and from the ski slopes in the morning and evening.

Our experienced chef will offer you a superb range of chalet cuisine. This includes a full cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes served by the open fire, canapés and a four course dinner. We have an open drinks cabinet and unlimited wine and soft drinks throughout your stay.

As our name suggests, we usually offer the chalet out for four day weekends, from Thursday to Monday. This is on a total occupancy basis although we can be flexible around your requirements - call us to discuss things further. Lets over Christmas, New year and Half Terms are normally accepted for complete weeks.

About Chamonix

Chamonix's proximity to Geneva airport, along with the range of skiing that it offers for different abilities makes it ideal for a short break. With the spectacular Mont Blanc massif dominating the scene, the elegant old town has a stylish, bustling atmosphere and a blend of charm, genuinely varied skiing and modern facilities which few other Alpine resorts can match.

Chamonix's centre is full of atmosphere, with cobbled streets and squares, beautiful old buildings and a fast-running river. The Alpine Museum should not be missed. The town squares and pavement cafes make wonderful vantage points for spectacular views of the mountains and glaciers. They are busy all day and into the early evening with sightseers and après-skiers.

The atmosphere is very French, very friendly and very Alpine. As well as the extensive choice of shops and cafés, bars and restaurants, the excellent sports facilities include a heated swimming pool, indoor and outdoor ice rinks, squash and tennis courts, a gym and a sauna.

For those energetic individuals seeking après-ski activities, there are plenty of nightclubs, bars and a casino.

Chamonix's skiing area also includes the nearby village of Argentière at the foot of Les Grands Montets. This developing resort has a delightful old centre distinguished by traditional wooden chalets and winding streets. The village also offers plenty of lively bars and restaurants (including the infamous Office Bar) which will keep even the most inexhaustible of revellers partying into the small hours.

Skiing in Chamonix
The Chamonix Valley is divided into six areas offering opportunities for skiing and snow boarding to suit all tastes and levels of skill.

The skiing on Les Grands Montets is ideal for both advanced and adventurous intermediate skiers. Renowned for providing some of the most challenging off piste skiing anywhere in the Alps, it also offers some of Europe's most breathtaking glacial scenery.

Le Tour, at the head of the valley, is perfect for beginners and intermediates keen to rediscover their ski legs. Its features include wide blue and red runs and a recently opened lift which offers access to some superb tree skiing.

Flégère and Brévent have sunny, south-facing slopes with stunning views of Mont Blanc. The two areas are now linked by gondola and offer inviting cruising terrain for skiers of intermediate standard.

Hungry lunchers are also well catered for. The view across the Chamonix valley from a restaurant sun-deck is reason enough to spend a day skiing here.

Les Houches is the bad weather alternative, with good snow conditions ensured by a generous battery of snow cannons. The area offers very good Austrian-style skiing below the tree line and a variety of runs for all standards.

It also provides floodlit skiing for anyone who's undefeated by daylit activities.

At an altitude of 3,842 meters, the Aiguille du Midi gives access to the highest skiing in Europe. This is the beginning of the legendary Vallée Blanche, a 23 kilometre glacial run down to the valley floor 2,842 meters below. This is the biggest vertical descent in the Alps and an unforgettable experience for confident intermediates skiing with a guide.
