A fabulous ski-in & ski-out location (150m walk to the lifts) and close to the foot of the slopes, near the Vormaine beginners' ski area. The chalet has a frontline position in the ancient village of Le Tour (1,500m altitude) near Argentiere at the top of the Chamonix valley. This location has the best snow record in the Alps with reliable skiing well into May each year at Le Tour and the nearby Grands Montets.

A superb location near the ski runs and lifts of Le Tour. This ski-in ski-out chalet is over 400sqm across 3 floors with fabulous views down the Chamonix valley and is an exclusive and relaxing location for both winter and summer holidays.

The chalet has 6 bedrooms (sleeping up to 16), with en-suite bathrooms and balconies. All bedrooms are with high quality bedding and furnishings.

The sumptuous top floor lounge and dining area accommodates large groups in comfort and space with stunning views down the Chamonix valley through the floor to ceiling windows and from the panoramic balcony or the outside spa hot-tub.

To pamper and entertain you this chalet has every luxury you could wish for - a central log fire, 50" flat screen TV with HD Freesat channels (French and English) & DVD player, Bose sound system with iPod dock, two 32" X-Box game stations each with Sky TV, WiFi broadband internet, laptop computer, 8 ball American pool table, hi-tech programmable boot warmer, Scandinavian dry & steam bio-sauna, 10 man outside hot-tub and a cinema room with an extensive film library.

The Chalet Layout:

Lounge and Dining:
The main dining area seats up to 14 with a further 6 in the kitchen. The lounge has comfortable seating areas for 12 with plenty of space to enjoy the central log fire. The 50" plasma with surround sound can be used to watch films from the extensive library or HD Free-Sat (French & English) programmes. Wi-Fi broadband is available throughout the chalet and there is a lap top computer for guests to use.

Panoramic Balcony:
The lounge and dining area is on the second floor of the chalet and is fronted with floor to ceiling windows leading out onto a panoramic balcony. The south facing views over the Mont Blanc massif are breathtaking. Guests can relax here with unobstructed frontline views of some of the most spectacular scenery the valley has to offer including the Aiguilles Rouges and Le Tour Glacier. There is outside seating and a gas BBQ for use when the weather is suitable.

Kitchen:
The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances to cook banquet meals. It has an oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, an American fridge freezer and sufficient cutlery, crockery & glassware for up to 20 diners.

Pool Room
The pool room on the ground floor has a full size 8 ball pool table.

Cinema
The cinema room has a large screen, surround sound and an extensive film library.

Sky & X-Box Games Area No.2
In addition to the X-Box games area & Sky TV in the Master Suite there is a second X-Box game station on the ground floor (bring your own games). This also has Sky TV.

Scandinavian Sauna
For guests who like Scandinavian saunas this 8 person hot room is the perfect place to relax. It has both dry and steam-bio sauna functions.

Hot Tub Spa
In winter and summer the outside hot-tub spa can accommodate 10 people in water of up to 40 degrees. There are air jets and under water lighting to adjust to suit your mood. The views from this spa are truly astounding.

About Chamonix

Set at the foot of Mont Blanc, Chamonix is Europe's foremost alpine area and is one of the most visited natural sites in the world. From the town centre Europe's highest cable car will take you to the spectacular Aiguille du Midi at 3,842m and the start of the famous Vallee Blanche 16km ski run. The views from here really are literally breathtaking.

A destination with a reputation for the extreme and this, whilst undoubtedly true, is matched by a wide array of sporting and leisure activities, peace and quiet, great nightlife, and superb scenery that can be enjoyed at whatever pace suits you. There really is something for everyone here. The lively streets of Chamonix are colourful with a mix of sports & fashion shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Every Saturday morning the town hosts an outdoor market brimming with local crafts and produce. There is a cinema, a bowling alley, an ice rink, a large sports centre with a pool, gym and indoor climbing wall and numerous museums in which to while away the day.

Skiing in Chamonix:
There really is no other mountain area in the world that offers the extent and variety of easily accessible skiing and snowboarding as the Espace Mont Blanc. With 1,100 square miles of breathtaking scenery the area crosses the borders of France, Switzerland, and Italy. There are six major ski areas in the valley all linked by a free shuttle bus that runs every 15 mins throughout the day.

All levels of ability are extensively catered for, from beginners who want wide, easy runs to the seasoned expert looking for bumps or the steep & deep to the gnarly snowboarder who needs the thrills of a snow park. The Chamonix valley is a playground for winter activities for all types; cross country skiers, snow shoers hiking off into the beyond, going sledging with huskies, heli-skiing or maybe ski randonee.

This is an amazing and wonderful place for skiing and snow boarding. This region is noted for its steep and high mountain terrain, It offers you spectacular domes, peaks, pyramids, needles, glaciers and bumps to ride. While Chamonix is world renowned as top destination for hardcore skiiers and snow boarders it is also a great place to learn.

Summer in Chamonix:
Summer in Chamonix is very special. The valley provides a wealth of exotic adventure. You can explore the majestic rock faces, gushing rivers and stunning lush landscape or relax in spectacular comfort.

Outdoor activities on offer in Chamonix are varied to appeal to any type of visitor and family. For those wanting a thrill and a challenge there are many outdoor activities - rock climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, water rafting and paragliding. Alternatively you may prefer to enjoy the picturesque golf course, take a leisurely walk around the many woodland trails or relax in a nearby spa - there really is something here for everyone.

Located at the Grand Montets is a new snowboard park. This park is equipped with a whole host of modern features such as rails, boarder cross courses and kickers plus a huge half pipe. If you plan on freesytle riding, this is he place for you.
