Bansko town is a mixture of an old picturesque Medieval Bulgarian village and purposely buildski resort. Despite the new constructions around, the old town has preserved its warm and unique atmosphere. The historical Old town center is about 5 min walk from our chalet and offers a lot to explore. Awalk through the paved tiny streets is fascinating. Various souvenir shops offer the creations of the local artists and smiths.
The main shopping street goes from the Old town up to the main Gondola lift and offers many shops, where you can find anything you may need, clothing, sport's shops and many others. There is even a new Mall Center in Bansko.

Skiing in Bansko:
The ski zone is located just above the town of Bansko 12 km into the picturesque Pirin Mountain. The past few years has seen Bansko gain a reputation like no other for its high standard skiing facilities at unrivaled prices. The ultra modern Gondola only takes 30 minutes to reach the exciting new ski centerwhich in the quieter season boasts no queues and minimum wait due to the SkiData chip-card passes that never need to be taken out of the pocket. Nightlife is full and intense in Bansko town. Especially if you know where to go. With about 20 pubs, a 60 local restaurants /Taverns/ and several night clubs, Piano and Karaoke Bars! And more.
Throughout the Bansko town you will find lots of street kiosks serving coffees, soft drinks and basic snack food. 5 minutes walk from the chalet is the town square, a popular meeting place for both locals and tourists. The square is lined with street café’s serving both imported beers as well as the high quality local brews. There is always a wide selection of wines and spirits available.
Most restaurants - taverns in Bansko will remain open until last person leaves! Same for the night clubs and discos!
150 m from chalet there is the ten pin bowling complex and casino. The ten pin bowling complex in Bansko also provides various arcade machines, pool tables, a cafe and bar. Ideal for families and those wanting to have a quiet night out. In the casino you can play all of the usual one-arm bandits, roulette, blackjack, poker etc.
