About Sainte Foy
Sainte Foy offers a truly unique experience for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
The quiet, gentle slopes are perfect for beginners and families, yet more advanced enthusiasts will find plenty to occupy themselves with a wide variety of slopes and terrain.
The slopes are uncrowded in Sainte Foy, meaning lift queues are minimal and at times you’ll feel like you have the mountains to yourself! There are only four chair lifts serving the ski area although this certainly doesn’t hamper its appeal, as the lack of crowds means you’ll feel truly spoilt.
The area is revered for its off-piste, which is easily accessible at the sides of every piste. The snow here stays fresh for longer than the surrounding resorts and rarely gets tracked out. There are also several more adventurous routes from the top of the mountain, taking up to several hours, which are not to be missed for those who relish powder riding!
There are an abundance of activities available in the Summer, even more so than the winter.
These range from white water rafting on the River Isere, mountains hikes where you can reach the mouth of glaciers, meadow picnics, horse riding treks to the farming hamlet of Le Monal, spectacular drives over to Italy for lunch, day trips to the beautiful lakeside town of Annecy, mountain biking on some of the best single tracks in the valley, lazy lunches poolside at local restaurants, via ferrata, paragliding, glacier skiing on the Grand Motte at Tignes, and much, much more.
