The apartment is genuinely ski-in and ski-out. To ski back to the apartment take the small ‘private’ piste from the Chantel nursery slopes which leads through the middle of the Alpage du Chantel development. It is possible to ski right to the entrance of the ski locker room in our residence. To ski from the apartment take the same ‘private’ piste down towards the centre of Arc 1800. The main lifts (Vagere and TransArc) are about one minute on skis or a board! Like most ski in/out property the convenience factor is less of a benefit for complete beginners, who typically will need tow or three days experience before they are able to ski to and from the apartment. The ski school meeting point in Arc 1800 is a short, but steep, walk down the piste. Alternatively there is a free resort shuttle bus which runs from Chantel to the resort centre every 20 minutes, or a pedestrian gondola which runs until late evening.
The apartment is on the outskirts of the village, in a very quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Arc 1800. Although the village is the liveliest of the Les Arcs destinations the St Bernard apartments are never troubled by the noise of late-night apres ski. Instead, the apartment offers an amazing view of the forest surrounding Les Arcs, the Tarentaise valley below and north to Mont Blanc.
A beautiful two bedroom apartment, offering a ski in & out location, swimming pool, private parking and wonderful views. The apartment is located in Chalet St. Bernard in Arc 1800, and is very comfortably furnished. It is ideal for a family of four, luxurious for a couple or can accommodate four adults without too much of a squeeze. The apartment is our family holiday property, so it is furnished to a higher standard than typical rental apartments. We offer a limited number of weeks for rental during winter and summer seasons.

Chalet St. Bernard is one of five apartment buildings in the Alpage du Chantel development at Arc 1800. This is located just above the centre of the village, on the Chantel nursery slopes (in the summer this is the resort’s golf course). The property development was undertaken by MGM, which is renowned for its high quality work in a number of French resorts. The apartment is 42m2 (plus balcony), with living room/kitchen area, Bedroom 1 (double bed), Bedroom 2 (bunk beds), bathroom and separate toilet. There is also a ski locker for guests to use, with the ski locker room just a few steps from the piste. Please note that we request guests do not smoke in the apartment, but instead take advantage of the tremendous views from the balcony if they want to have a cigarette!
The apartment is furnished to a high standard, and we have equipped it as a 4-bed rather than the 6-bed typical of most French apartments this size. It has the following features:

Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and come complete with linen & towels.

There is a separate toilet, so no queues when the bathroom is occupied!
