Chalet Eagle’s Nest is a spacious and superior catered ski chalet comfortably sleeping 16 guests in 7 ensuite rooms. Located in the charming village of Peisey Nancroix in the massive Paradiski area and on the doorstep of the Vanoise Express linking Les Arcs and La Plagne. Paradiski is one of the largest ski areas in the world and you can choose to ski in La Plagne or Les Arcs first thing everyday.
The chalet is decorated in a time-honored style using plenty of antique timber and wooden beams which give it a traditional feel of an old chalet but with the modern facilities of a new one. The chalet has seven delightful bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities, four of which have access to balconies. On the third floor there is a large living room and adjoining dining area. The living room of the chalet has a central fireplace and huge picture windows providing lovely panoramic views across the valley.
Located just 200m from the nearest lift which takes you up to Plan Peisey where the local ski school meets. From Plan Peisey there is a fast 6-seater chairlift as well as the Vanoise Express cable car that links the resort to la Plagne. At the end of the day you can return to the chalet using various off-piste routes down (if conditions are good) or use the ski lift. This connecting lift takes 7 minutes in either direction.

Peisey-Vallandry is a collection of villages which fall within the resort of Les Arcs and Paradiski but have a very different atmosphere than their next-door cousin! This typical French ski resort is mainly traditional chalet-style buildings and has an alpine ambiance about it. The “Vanoise Express” lift linking Les Arcs to La Plagne lands at Plan-Peisey making it a great place to stay if you are planning to explore both resorts – our catered chalet Eagles Nest is located right by the ‘ lobster pot lift’ taking you up to this link. Vallandry is a great village resort a few hundred metres from Plan-Peisey with some wonderful returning home runs through the trees great for intermedidates …. blast down the Ourse or the Aigle and practice your carving turns on a wide, blue slope. For skiers and boarders alike, the resort offers a good choice of runs with most areas being served by both easy and difficult pistes making it a good choice for mixed ability groups. There are some good beginner areas but also some challenging black runs from the top of the Aiguile Rouge including a run to Villaroger which has a vertical drop of 2000m. The link to La Plagne adds another dimension to create a ski domain to challenge the famous Three Valleys.
Peisey, Les Arcs offers a number of good restaurants and a choice of bars and is great place to go for mixed ability groups to stay with great accommodation and plenty of quieter bars to choose from.
