We take care of your transfers from and to Geneva airport (T&Cs Apply), where you’ll meet met by our trusted and experienced resort based transfer company. Once in resort you’ll be welcomed by our friendly and accommodating staff who will look after your every need. Starting with a welcome drink and some freshly baked cake.
Meals included are breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal. And our live-in chef will take care of any requests or dietary requirements you may have.

Les Gets village, on the western edge of the Portes Du Soleil ski area, is a vibrant community, the residents of which take pride in welcoming everyone from the youngest of infants upwards, and providing and maintaining the very best facilities to make your stay enjoyable. Whether you are a skier, snowboarder, or just want a relaxing alpine holiday, Les Gets can offer you a superb experience.

The chalet is accessible both by road, and by a short off-piste ski from the top of Mont Chery, and we offer a free chalet transport service for the less confident skiers.

Before dinner you can relax in our hot tub with a glass of wine, and soak away those skiing aches, or wash away the day with our range of toiletries. If your muscles need an extra helping hand, take advantage of our in house massage therapies on demand*.

At the end of all this, you can cosy up in our egyptian cotton sheets, towels, bathrobes and slippers, entertain yourselves with our Nintendo Wii and range of games and DVDs, or (if you are not too exhausted, stuffed and tipsy) head out to experience the lively night life Les Gets offers right through until 5am.

About Les Gets

Nestled between Samoens and Morzine, Les Gets is the western entrance to the Portes Du Soleil ski area, and one of the most easily accessed resorts the Alps has to offer. Developed slowly from its first chair lift in 1938, and devoid of high rise blocks and big tour operators, it is now a beautiful traditional alpine town, noted for being Sunday Times' favourite family ski resort in France.

Les Gets started life around 800 years ago as a farming community, and quickly developed a successful wood industry. The sawmills would spring into action as the spring meltwater pushed the water powered engine up to full speed, and even the modern name "Les Gets" stems from the words "gitte or giette" meaning "the hillside corridors used to rapidly send logs down the mountainside". Our long standing status as a winter sports resort is proven by our being home to the first Ecole Du Ski Francais (ESF Ski School) in 1940, and heavy investment in the intervening years has resulted in our current state-of-the-art lift and piste maintenance systems. Some of the old industries are still functioning today, and you can enjoy tours of the goat farm and the Fruitiere fromagerie, with opportunities to taste their produce.

Skiing and snowboarding are naturally our primary winter sports, and the Les Gets-Morzine area alone boasts over 50 pistes. Linked to Les Gets, the full Portes Du Soleil pass will give you access to over 650km of runs in both France and Switzerland, all of which we are happy to tour with you to share our knowledge of the area. We are ideally suited to all levels of ski ability, are a great place to progress your skills, and even boast 9 terrain parks (including superpipe and airbag jumps) for those who like to be scared!

Further afield we can arrange to take you for a day to nearby Chamonix, or the Grand Massif or Aravis ski areas - just ask for more details.

The silver medal winning performance by Deborah Anthonioz in the Olympic Winter Games 2010 Women's Boardercross has resulted in our very own ski/boarder cross course here in Les Gets in her honour - the only such permanent facility in France capable of receiving international competitions. The course is open to all thouthgout the winter season.

Other snow-based activities are also available across the Portes Du Soleil. Les Gets offers daily guided snowshoe walks, and a parapente tour gives you the chance to see the area's beauty from a birds-eye view. You can have a go at other types of skiing too - telemarking, randonee, mono-skiing, and snow scooters (if you are brave enough!).

Dog-Sledding and Ski-Joering (mountain horseriding) are also available, and for a more leisurely afternoon you can visit Les Gets open air ice-skating rink in the town centre.

For the less thrill seeking amongst you we have a newly refurbished spa in the centre of Les Gets, offering many types of massage and other therapies, and a brand new indoor pool in the neighbouring town of Morzine. We can also take you further afield to explore nearby well-known towns such as Annecy, Evian, Yvoire and Geneva, or you can simply relax and enjoy spectacular views and great alpine food in Les Gets village.
