About Tignes

Chalet Alistelle is situated in Tignes Les Brevieres at an altitude of 1550 metres. Although Tignes Les Brevieres is not quite as high as Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Le Lavachet (2100m), it is still a high altitude resort and has an excellent snow record. Thanks to it’s altitude and the aspect of it’s slopes, it has always been possible to ski from the chalet and back to the village all winter for all of the 6 years we have been in Tignes. Tignes Les Brevieres is well linked with all the other Tignes resorts, and neighbouring Val D’Isère.

Chalet Alistelle has a great location 100 metres (a downhill walk) from the side of a blue piste which takes you down to the main lifts and slopes at the foot of the beginner slope (Pitots), a blue slope (Myrtilles), a red slope (Pavot) and a black slope (the infamous Sache). A fast 6 person bubble lift (Sache) takes you to two chairlifts, both giving access to Tignes Le Lac via a blue slope (Rhododenron then Petit Col) or a red slope (Bluets). There is also a free 4 person chairlift (Brevieres) connecting with Tignes Les Boisses and a free beginner button lift (Pitots) serving the beginner slope. At the end of the day you can take a short bubble lift on a monorail from the main lift station to within 100 metres (a downhill walk) of Chalet Alistelle.

Tignes Les Brevieres is linked to other Tignes villages during the day by a free pedestrian chairlift (Brevieres) and a free resort shuttle bus, meaning non skiers can get around independently.

Chalet Alistelle is 150 metres from the centre of Tignes Les Brevieres where you will find cafes, bars, restaurants, a supermarket, bakery, newsagents, post office, cash machine, tourist office, ski school and ski and snowboard shops.

Whether you fancy an hour, a day or more off the slopes, you won’t find yourself wanting for other activities in Tignes. We will be happy to advise and help you arrange these. Click on the photos below for further information.

Le Lagon (free admission with ski pass!) Leisure pool and slides, a lane swimming pool and a baby pool. The ‘Wellness Centre’ (10 euro supplement) has 3 jacuzzis, 3 saunas and a steam room.

“Plunge straight into the icy waters of the frozen lake. Under the ice there is not a single noise or movement. Air bubbles dance while rays of sunlight play on the frozen surface. All equipment and tuition provided.”

Tignes’ ice skating rink is an open-air rink located on the frozen lake in the heart of Tignes Le Lac. (free admission with a ski pass!)
Rally cars, buggies or quad bikes on the ice track in Tignes Les Brevieres. This is available from December to March, subject to snow conditions and temperatures.
