About Les Arcs

Les Arcs Paradiski, the second largest ski area in France, has something for everyone
Les Arcs offers skiers of all abilities tremendous choice, with over 200km of pistes, ranging from gentle tree-lined cruising to serious off-piste itineraries. At the heart of the skiing network is the Aguille Rouge (3226m), the starting point for much of the most challenging skiing, including the exhilarating 7km (2000m vertical) descent to the village of Le Pré. Less experienced skiers can find a variety of runs through the forest to the villages of Vallandry and Peisey.
The skiing area is built around four purpose-built centres (Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 2000 and the newly constructed Arc 1950) from which most of the lifts radiate. Many old villages and hamlets are accessible, with an excellent range of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Our chalets are situated at Les Granges, near the intermediate stop on the Arc-en-Ciel funicular to Arc 1600 (taking 3 minutes). You can ski back to Les Granges down a variety of runs through forests and meadows.
The neighbouring ski area of La Plagne is linked to Les Arcs by the Vanoise Express cable car, the largest in the world.
Ski guiding
A ski guiding programme is available to help you to get the best out of the Les Arcs - Paradiski ski area. Details will be available when you arrive at your chalet.
Italy on skis!
Every week (subject to sufficient demand and conditions) we organise a skiing excursion to the Italian resort of La Thuile for a real italian pizza or pasta lunch. We start from the neighbouring resort of La Rosiere, and over the stunning St Bernard pass. Suitable for reasonable blue run skiers and above, bearing in mind it's quite a lot of skiing
