If wanting a good quality, well located value option to ski Zell am See, Kaprun and Saalbach, then this chalet is worth more than a second glance. Chalet Pierre has a quiet location on the slopes in Viehofen. Just 100 metres away is the ski lift which takes you to the Zell am See ski area and from the chalet, 100m away is the free bus stop too which takes you the 2km to the Saalbach lift for the rest of the Skicircus Saalbach/Hinterglemm/Leogang/Fieberbrunn ski area. The free ski bus runs through to Vorderglemm (where the first Saalbach ski lift is), Saalbach and Hinterglemm. After an active day on the slopes you can ski back to the chalet either from Zell am See or Saalbach, with the latter being on an excellent 7.5km run.
In Viehofen there is a small supermarket and several options for places to eat. The nearest restaurant is less than 100 meters away from the chalet as well as a few bars but the vibrant acres ski is in Saalbach or Zell am See.. If driving here the chalet has four parking spaces. Offered self catered or on a catered half board basis to suit.
