Description
Self catered or flexi-catered, Chalet Tressud is a wonderful winter or summer choice for a great holiday.
Originally built, to our design, in the early 1990’s it was fully refitted and renovated with refined style and sophistication in 2009. The interior is extremely spacious and we have furnished with your every comfort in mind. There are 10 beds in 4 twin or double, en suite, bedrooms, two of which have extra beds. All the bedrooms are on the top floor however, downstairs, the games room can also be used as an additional double bedroom where there is an extra communal shower room. The rest of the lower floor comprises a large living room with TV; dining area with a table which can sit up to 12; a practically designed kitchen; and a large well equipped TV (2nd) /games room. Large picture windows lead out from the living room to a balcony from which you can enjoy our spectacular views. There are hardwood tables and chairs for 'al fresco' dining in the summer, together with a barbecue and parasol. The outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi can be accessed from both the balcony and the games room.
To complete your holiday we offer flexi-catered packages from a substantial starter pack which is included in all our prices and 3 other packages to take the strain out of the catering aspect of your self catering holiday. We can deliver fresh bread and pastries each day with a clean at the end of your stay. When you arrive the beds will be made to you requirements and in the winter the stove laid for you ready to light.

About Les Gets
Between Lake Geneva and Mt Blanc, in a mountain pass at 1200 metres altitude, Les Gets is our secret corner of paradise. An hour and a bit from Geneva Airport, approximately 8 hours from most channel ports, it is easily accessible whatever your mode of transport. Once you have arrived you are sure to be charmed by the town's traditional mountain village atmosphere and Savoyard wood and stone chalet architecture: no modern apartment blocks here.
Les Gets dates back to the 11th century and the name Gets comes from the ancient French word 'jets' - meaning the gaps in the trees down which wood was brought. The wooded lower slopes and the high mountain scenery with views of Mont Blanc and surrounding peaks are breathtaking.
Activities near Les Gets
An excellent family resort, Les Gets offers activities for everyone. In summer, there is an 18-hole golf course, a swimming lake, miles & miles of walking and mountain bike paths, and a commando-style, treetop Adventure Park. Les Gets is recognised as a world leading centre for mountain biking and in 2004 was host to to the world championships. In winter, as well as skiing and snowboarding, there is ice skating and snow shoeing. Les Gets is a part of the immense Portes du Soleil ski area and has an excellent snow record.

| Suitability notes | Access to the chalet is up a flight of steps and therefore is unsuitable for wheelchair users. In peaceful surroundings the chalet is 2k from the town and pistes, however we benefit from the FREE navette bus which runs at the end of our lane (150m) and is a short ride to town and skiing. Our recommended ski shop will let you keep you skis and boots there so you can après ski in comfort. We do however have our own heated boot room. |

Great place to stay
We loved staying here, it was like being at home,very well equipped and easy to relax in.
The bed we had was amazingly comfy, the bedrooms were spacious and clean with good en-suites.
The bus stop is literally a two minute walk and is a quick ride into Les Gets.
