Bardonecchia is the one of the oldest resorts in Italy. The traditional Italian town is set against a stunning mountainous backdrop with peaks rising to over 3500m, ensuring breathtaking views from this hidden gem. It is a skiers’ and snowboarders’ paradise with immaculately groomed pistes and Olympic snow parks. It was host to the 2006 Turin winter Olympics and held the half-pipe and snow cross finals. Bardonecchia has an extensive network of snow cannons which guarantees an excellent skiing base throughout the season.
The Chalet Bianca is based in the heart of Bardonecchia just a few minutes from both the ski slopes and the town centre and only 1hr 15 minutes from Turin Airport. You can fly to Turin from London Gatwick (BA, Easyjet), Stansted (Ryanair), Luton (Blue Air) and Manchester.
We offer a free minibus shuttle service to the slopes everyday, alternatively it’s just a short stroll to the slopes and to the traditional Alpine town centre. The main street Via Medail is lined with cafés, restaurants and designer shops to suit all tastes whilst Campo Smith, the main ski area, houses an array of lively bars, ski shops and ski schools.
There is something for everyone whether your idea of a good time is relaxing in an Italian bar reliving the events of the day or enjoying a cappuccino or prosecco on a sun-soaked terrace.
The chalet caters for up to 21 people and offers a real home from home experience. We offer twin/king rooms with en-suites as well as family suites (inter-connecting door, 2 shower rooms).
