Our apartment l'Etendard on the 2nd floor (stairless access) of Chalet "Le Grenier de Germaine" is located in the gorgeous alpine village of Vaujany. The apartment is in a modern luxury chalet built in traditional local style using a mix of stone, old wood and lime render. Three bedrooms with huge open plan kitchen, lounge dining with large glass doors on the south and east walls opening onto balconies. The centrally heated apartment decorated in the traditional wooden chalet style with mountain relics is beautifully fitted throughout. The primary bathroom has a fantastic rain shower, double sinks and a WC while the separate WC is also fitted with a basin. An internal heated ski locker is perfect for hanging storage of any sporting goods and jackets to keep them warm and accessible.
L'Etendard is our home away from home and we are gradually adding more of lifes neccesities fo you to share like board games, Nintendo Wii, beanbags, a guitar to rock out and of course a stocked wine rack.
Vaujany itself is a gorgeous apline village with a newly built ski rink, leisure centre with a 25m indoor pool, sauna/hammam, fitness and bowling lanes. The village provides free undercover parking and covered escalators throughout to ensure all vistors get the royal welcome. Vaujany offers the perfect combination of a traditional alpine village linked to the modern ski domain of Alpe d’Huez. With fast lifts and excellent infrastructure this is a great location for a ski holiday.
