Description
Chalet Sardonnere is a stunning chalet, located in the beautiful hamlet of Vanthier, in Meribel. This lovely family chalet has been newly renovated to a very high standard and offers all the comforts of a family home combined with smart chalet living. There are five twin/or double rooms, three are ensuite and the other two share a lovely large bathroom. there is also a single room, with a great single bed and storage, the room is small but a good option if you need 6 bedrooms .New for this chalet is a lovely large Media room, Great for watching a film or For kids to relax in with or without adults. There is also a separate massage room/quiet office space. ( massages can be arranged on request) The chalet also boasts fabulous views both down the valley and up the valley towards Saulire.
Access to Meribel and the slopes is ever so easy as the chalet is very close to the free ski bus that gets you there in no time at all, its regular and runs to a good timetable. It should also be possible to ski back to the chalet down a red run for most of the season. The last 30/40 metres is down a track and before you know it you are opposite the chalet.

Its possible to book the chalet catered or self catered, choice is yours. If you decide to go catered then the catering would include continental breakfast with a hot option, afternoon tea with homemade cake and a 3 course dinner with wine on 6 days. The price would also include 2 mid week cleans. The caterer would have one day off and breakfast items will be left for you in the chalet to serve yourselves. Please note we only work with independent caterers that cater as a profession and most live in France all year round. We have worked with our team of chefs for quite a few seasons now so we are confident of their skills and know that you will get fantastic catering if you choose to add on this option to your holiday.
Our ‘Top Tip’ is to hire ski lockers in Meribel, the lockers are right underneath one of the main gondolas in Meribel Chaudanne. This means in the morning you can go up to Meribel in your normal shoes, change into you ski equipment and off you go, all very easy. After skiing, change back into your shoes and either go home or go for a wander around Meribel, have an apres drink, maybe go swimming or ice skating. We think this is a great option if you have children. The lockers cost around 45 euros for the week and can take 3 skis and boots per locker. The room is very well heated.

If booking self catered please note this price includes the end of stay clean fee, however the kitchen MUST be left clean with all washing up done and bins and recycling taken away. Failure to do so will result in a decution from the secuirty deposit. All linen is included with beds made. We require a £1500 security deposit which will be payable directly to the operator before the start of the holiday

About Meribel
Meribel is part of the huge 3 valleys ski area , with over 600 kms of marked trails it does not get any bigger. Whats more all three valleys are very well linked together and for an intermediate skier its possible to ski in all three in a day, certainly not possible to ski all the runs, that takes a life time as there are so many.
