This exclusive chalet is in the Hameau de la Morraz - a unique community of six contemporary chalets in landscaped grounds just 2km from the centre of La Clusaz. Sweet Nest Lodge commands stunning views over La Balme and the pistes of La Clusaz. Combining the best of contemporary design with traditional materials, it was built using Aravis stone and reclaimed wood. Whether you are looking for a winter base from which you can ski the 220km of Aravis pistes, or a summer retreat for mountain sports such as hiking, climbing and mountain biking, you couldn't make a better choice. There is plenty of space for two families or a group of friends, and guests with limited mobility are well catered for with a lift connecting the three floors. There is a private 9 seater minibus with driver at your disposal for 3 hours each morning and afternoon for easy access to the slopes, ski club, the village etc

Sweet Nest Lodge overlooks the popular La Balme ski area in La Clusaz in the Hameau de la Morraz, just 2km from the ski lift. The great value Aravis ski pass covers 220km of pistes and 95 lifts - more than enough to keep skiers and boarders of all abilities busy. Cross-country skiers and snowshoe walkers will find great terrain at the nearby Lac des Confins and the Glieres plateau, scene of the French Resistance campaign in World War II. In La Clusaz village, you'll will find an ice rink, heated indoor and outdoor pools, spa centres and a cinema, as well as a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a challenge away from the pistes, try sledging, dog-sledding and sleigh rides, all within a few miles of your luxury chalet.

Pack in the sporting action or relax in the jacuzzi on the balcony of your luxury La Clusaz chalet. There are plenty of walks from Sweet Nest Lodge, or you can take the lift up into the mountains for some high-altitude hiking or biking. There's a tennis club and riding centre just up the road at Lac des Confins, and other activities within easy reach of La Clusaz include white-water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata and para-gliding. The beautiful medieval town of Annecy, with a wide selection of unique shops and restaurants, is less than 30 minutes drive away. Its lake, the cleanest in Europe, is a great place for swimming and water sports, or you could just hire a boat and explore some of the peaceful lakeside beaches.

All Guests may cancel their reservation up to 12 weeks before their arrival date if Governmental travel restrictions have been put in place relating to COVID-19 that would prevent the Guest from travelling to the property. A credit note will be issued for the full amount paid by the Guest that is valid for use at the same property for 27 months from the Guests scheduled date of arrival. In this case, only a credit note will be issued, the Guest will not be entitled to a refund of their reservation.

The following applies ONLY to guests who are residents of metropolitan France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands or Luxembourg.

The Guest may cancel their booking up to the day before their scheduled day of arrival if one or more of the following restrictions below applies. In this case a credit note will be issued by the Owner for the full amount paid by the Guest that is valid at the same property for 27 months from the Guests scheduled date of arrival. In this case, only a credit note will be issued, the Guest will not be entitled to a refund of their reservation. Guests residing in countries other than those appearing in the above-mentioned list will not be able to benefit from this cancellation.

The government of the country of residence of the person in whose name the booking is made puts in place any of the following:

- advises against all non essential travel to France
- introduces local lockdown measures preventing the Guest from leaving their local area
- closes the countries border to all foreign travel
- imposes a mandatory quarantine period on people returning from France. (This does not include a quarantine period on return due to a positive COVID test.)

Or if any of the following applies:

- The Guest is a non-French resident and the French border is closed
- The Guest is a non-French resident and The French National or Local Government introduces obligatory quarantine measures for guests arriving into France or the resort where the Guest has booked their stay
- French National or Local Government has introduced local or general lockdown measures which result in the Owner being unable to operate as a business
- If the Government Restrictions imposed, or the travel advice given by the French Government, or the Guests home/return country’s Government, changes part way through the Guests stay forcing the Guest to cut their stay short, a credit note or refund for any part of the Guests stay will not be issued. The Guest will need to claim on their travel insurance.


Concerns about future government restrictions being applied, a disinclination to travel because of COVID-19, or if the Guests travel arrangements (e.g flight, ferry or tunnel crossing, but not exclusive to) are cancelled for any reason other than those listed above then no refunds or credit vouchers will be issued and there will be no compensation payment.


If the Guests are showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive for COVID-19, provided that the Owner is “open for business” and can fulfill their contractual obligations, then the Owner accepts no liability or responsibility to issue refunds or credit notes and will not pay any other compensation. The Guest will need to make a claim on their travel insurance.


To cancel their reservation and ask for a credit note the Guest must provide a link to an official government web site of the country that has applied the restriction where the justification for the Guests claim is clearly stated.


The Guest should take out travel insurance to cover medical situations related to COVID-19. If the Guest wishes to make a claim on their travel insurance then the Owner will supply any supporting documentation required.
