About Morzine

As the world's oldest cross-border ski destination, the Portes du Soleil takes in the neighbouring Alpine regions of French Chablais and Swiss Valais...two countries, two currencies, two cultures, one language with harmonious yet distinct accents, and one shared love of the mountains.

The ski area's special location means that visitors can enjoy two holidays in one, with their skis on! On the slopes, it's perfectly possible to start out in France and end in Switzerland, and vice-versa...and thanks to the Portes du Soleil ski lift pass - the first international lift-pass dating back to 1976 - there's no need to worry about how to get home, since it covers every side of the mountain. The Portes du Soleil brings you skiing without borders!

Summer in the Alps is truly magnificent, there is so much to see, do and explore and Apartment Levant Blanc puts you right in the heart of it – a fantastic location to begin your adventure. Benefitting from the sun all day, the patio doors lead straight out to the garden where you can enjoy the views and listen to the distant sound of cow bells in the meadows. Children can play safely, and with fantastic mountain walks on your doorstep, there is much to explore.

Chamonix: One of the most famous Alpine towns, sat at the foot of Mont Blanc, which, at 4810 meters, is the highest peak in Europe.

Evian-Les-Bains: The famous spa town on lake Geneva, famous for it’s thermal spa and bottled water. A fantastic day out.

Yvoire: A walled medieval town on the shores of Lack Geneva which has been cited as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Annecy: A beautiful town, which is a must for a day trip, enjoy the lake and all it has to offer, the old town, shopping & markets; it really is a wonderful day out.

Geneva: A truly cosmopolitan city with fantastic shopping, cafes and, of course, the Lake and the famous Jet d’Eau.
