Description
A new barn renovation, the Ferme de la Couttetaz boasts an amazing location, right in the heart of Morzine. Full of character, this historic building dates back to 1779 and has been renovated to a very high standard. It has 5 bedrooms with a very large open plan kitchen, dining and living room with spectacular views towards Avoriaz.
The chalet benefits from a cosy wood burner in the living area and patio doors out to a large garden with a hot tub. Relax after a day on the mountain in the hot tub and enjoy a glass of bubbles while soaking your muscles, taking in the beautiful view over Morzine and towards Avoriaz!
There is also a new infrared sauna and shower room inside the chalet. The infrared sauna uses new technology and will help you relax, relieve unwanted pain, increase your circulation, and purify your skin.
The living areas are incredibly spacious with large glass sliding doors leading onto a terrace and gives access to the garden and hot tub which enables guests to enjoy stunning, uninterrupted mountain views. The living area really is enormous, so plenty of room for those to watch a film while others chill out playing cards or snuggle up on the sofa in front of the wood burner.
The dining area is between the kitchen and living area and the table seats up to 10 people comfortably. The kitchen is stylish and practical with an induction hob, 2 ovens, dishwasher and large larder fridge freezer.
The entrance area to the chalet is via the garage where there are ski boot heaters, putting cosy ski boots on in the morning will be a delight. A utility room is also located next the garage and includes a washing machine & dryer. There is bespoke storage for skis outside. After a great day on the hill, soothe those aching muscles in the sauna and hot tub.
The chalet has FREE Wifi internet connection and there is also a 32" LCD TV with UK High Definition Satellite channels.

| Suitability notes | Ferme De Coutettaz has an amazing location in Morzine, just a 1 minute walk (100 metres) to the nearest ski lift on the Pleney piste and a 9 minute walk (550 metres) to the Super Morzine telecabine and a few minutes on foot to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Although it is super central it is situated in a quiet street. The chalet has a garage with ski storage as well as heated boot and glove warmers. At the front of the chalet there a large garden with stunning views over Morzine and up to Avoriaz, sit back in the hot tub with a glass of bubbles and enjoy the view! Our catered chalet service includes: • Breakfast daily: continental buffet consisting of: croissants, pain, cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts, fresh fruit and tea, infusions and coffee. 6 mornings your chalet hosts will also offer you a daily cooked special.
Our Savoyard night is a true taste of the Alps as well as being sociable and fun. We serve local Raclette cheese that you then cook at the table and which is served alongside a cold meat platter, green salad, pickles, gherkins and new potatoes followed by a classic French dessert. This chalet is also available self-catered. |
