Description
The Goat Shed is a traditional Savoyarde village property, which has been lovingly renovated, to provide a cosy and comfortable base for your holiday. The chalet is owner run and we pride ourselves on our fantastic food, warm welcome and personal service.
The chalet has five comfortable bedrooms. Three rooms have en suite facilities and two rooms share a bathroom. There is a large open-plan living area with a log-burner, widescreen TV, DVD, Playstation 3, WIFI internet and a laptop for your use. On the ground floor is a ski store/tech room and heated boot room. In the summer this area is magically transformed in to secure bike storage, a workshop and drying room.
Our catered holidays include breakfast, afternoon tea with homemade cakes and a delicious three course evening meal with wine for 6 nights.
We provide a minibus shuttle to and from the slopes, 5 minutes drive away. The village centre is 10 minutes walk, where you can find a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

About Peisey Vallandry
The Goat Shed is situated in Peisey-Vallandry, right at the heart of the Paradiski ski area. Being ideally placed between the two extensive ski resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne, direct access to the whole of the Paradiski ski area, is at your fingertips.
Peisey is linked to the main ski area by an open air cable car, which is 3 minutes away in the free resort shuttle bus, or our catered chalet guests can take advantage of our courtesy minibus which drops off right on the slopes. From here the Vanoise Express cable car or two high speed chair lifts take you in any direction you like. With over 400km of marked pistes, there is something for everyone – from friendly blue runs, to tree-lined reds and challenging black mogul fields.
In the summer The Goat Shed is the ideal base from which to explore some of the finest singletrack in the Alps.
Peisey-Vallandry is perfectly situated in the Vanoise valley between Les Arcs and La Plagne . Access to both areas is just minutes away via the Televillage (lobster pots) lift, and there are trails from both areas that descend right back to the Chalet.
There’s over 2000 vertical metres of lift accessible riding on our doorstep . A vast network of natural trails extends across the Paradiski area and beyond with a huge variation in difficulty and surface – from the rocky paths in the peaks above the tree-line with stunning views, to drifty, pine needle coated singletrack through the forests. Loam, stone, root and dirt. Steep and technical to fast and flowing, everything you could hope for is here…

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Peisey-Vallandry has an exceptional cross country ski area, with 43km of tracks (classic and skating) situated in stunning surroundings on the edge of the Vanoise National Park.

Snow shoes are available to rent at the Nordic ski centre, for guided or independent walks.
