Description
This self-catered chalet is bookable for groups 12 people with free wifi and all ensuite bathrooms.
Located at Courbaton Village, nestled in the forest close to Arc 1600, Chalet L’Aiguille Grive offers skiing convenience with a touch of luxury.
On foot, Courbaton is a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of Arc 1600, which has many shops, bars and restaurants. You will go past the bus stop for free shuttles to Arc 2000, Arc 1950 and Arc 1800.
In winter, in the mornings you can ski down to les Granges via the easy blue run ‘Bois de Saule’, to the mid-stop of the funicular which takes you up to Arc1600 in 4 minutes. Or you use our free ski shuttle bus. In the afternoon you ski to the door from Arc1600.
There is a spacious living/dining room on the first floor with a log fire, panoramic views and balconies on 2 sides. All the bedrooms have full ensuite facilities (toilet, shower or bath, basin). There is a fully equipped kitchen with fondue and raclette sets and a Nespresso machine. Free WiFi throughout the chalet and Chromecast on the living room TV.
There are two double rooms, one quadruple room with two twin beds and a bunk bed and a quadruple room with 2 bunk beds. All rooms are ensuite.
There is plenty of car-free playing space in and around Courbaton and plenty for children to explore.

Arc 1600 is a mere 15 min walk away with access to the funicular which takes you to Arc 1600 or down to Bourg Saint Maurice in less than 7 minutes and to the local shuttle busses between Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000. Arc 1600 is your gateway to the ski lifts, MTB Bike Parks of Les Arcs and Peisey&Vallendry, the Arc 1800 Golf club, numerous hiking and walking trails and more.
We offer a morning free ski shuttle bus. In the afternoon you ski to the door via a blue or red slope from Arc1600.

Amazing service and chalet
Big shoutout to Martijn and Georgia for being great hosts! They were always at hand should there have been any problems or questions.
Unfortunately there wasn’t enough snow to ski down to the chalet so we were offered a shuttle service to and from the slopes in 1600 which was a saviour!
The chalet is very clean and well looked after, plenty of space for 12 people.
There was more than enough cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc… so much so that we managed to make a full roast dinner and Mac’n’cheese at the same time for all of us.
I couldn’t recommend this chalet enough!
