Chalet an der Piste is a luxury chalet directly next to the piste on the Maiskogel mountain, which brings a ski chalet for wintersports holidays in Zell am See Kaprun Austria at its best. The Chalet an der Piste (which translates to 'slopeside chalet') offers two independent floors suitable to house 8 to 11 people each. When you book the whole chalet, then up to 22 people can stay with us. Each floor has 4 separate bedrooms, a living room, 2 separate bathrooms (with each their own toilet) and a separate toilet. The bedrooms each have a double bed, while one of the bedrooms additionally provides a high sleeper bed. The living room has a sleeping couch with a mattress. Last but not least, in this living room you will find a fully equipped kitchen with high quality Siemens appliances (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer), Philips bread toaster, Senseo, Nespresso and filter coffee machine. All rooms have a Sony LCD TV. In the living room you can watch your favourite Blu-ray DVD, watch movies on Netflix, use Apple TV or simply surf the internet using wireless broadband. The house is heated with underfloor heating, so that your feet are warm in no time after your day of winter sports. The heating systems uses an environmentally friendly heat pump system. The ski room allows you to store your skis and heat your boots on the rack. Our clalender does not sync with AllChalets. Please make an enquiry and we will update you on availibility.
Kaprun is known for good snow conditions thanks to the glacier, a good night life and beautiful surroundings. During summer the mountains and the flat valley open up to summer sports and events. Lake Zell is known as a warm (non-glacier) lake of drink water quality in which you can enjoy watersports during summer. Thanks to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier in Kaprun, you are sure to able to ski and snowboard. The winter sports season typically runs from halfway October till end of May. Depending on the conditions and maintenance, the season may continue till halfway July!!! Enjoy the unique combination of alpine snow and a warm summer valley! Combine it with a round of golf, swimming (various swimming pools and the lake), hiking, cycling, mountain biking, waterskiiing, sailing, tennis etc. in the valley. Enjoy your summer at the chalet with a touch of snow and ice.
True Ski-in Ski-out:
The luxury Chalet an der Piste is situated directly at the Maiskogel piste, Kaprun, Austria and is a true ski-in / ski-out location while the Maiskogel piste is open. No hassle with carrying your gear and no time lost finding a parking spot at the ski lift. You park in front of the chalet (partially carport). All you need to do is walk out of the door and ski or snowboard down the piste. We have arranged with our rental partner that if you make a reservation in advance, then the material is already available in the ski room upon your arrival. This minimises your time sorting material out in the shop. Fits 99% of the time and changing is a hassle free experience.
Ski Chalet Layout:
Ground Floor offers 4 separate bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms, a separate toilet, living room, fully equipped kitchen and sauna. In winter, skis can be stored in the ski-room, while your boots can heat up on the rack. In summer, we provide a washing machine and dryer in this room, but unfortunately space lacks to provide this in winter. Dry cleaner in Zell am See.
Upper Floor offers 4 separate bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms, a separate toilet, living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the wooden ceiling and views from this level. Note that due to the Mountain elevation you have access to your floor 'at ground level'. In winter, skis can be stored in the ski-room, while your boots can heat up on the rack. In summer, we provide a washing machine and dryer in this room, but unfortunately space lacks to provide this in winter. Dry cleaner in Zell am See.
The East side of Chalet an der Piste overlooks Kaprun and its surroundings. Sitting in a typical Austrian bay, you will enjoy views on the piste as well.
The South side of Chalet an der Piste gives magnificent views of the mountains notably the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Sunny location! Sitting on the terrace or the balcony you will be able to enjoy every beam of sunshine until the sun sinks behind the Maiskogel.
