Chalet Merlin is a superb three bedroom, two bathroom town home, ideally situated in the Stoneridge complex, close by the slopes of the Upper Village of Whistler and is only a 10 minute walk or a free shuttle ride away from the action of Whistler Village. The ski-out trail at the end of the complex leads to Merlin’s Run on Blackcomb Mountain and down to the new Blackcomb Gondola. The trail is relatively flat and you ski back via this trail by exiting Merlin’s Run to the right, just before the Woodrun Lodge.
The entrance area on the lower level is complete with ski rack, coat hooks and plenty of storage space. Upstairs is the main living floor. The open concept living room features vaulted ceilings, a river rock wood burning fireplace and a flat screen TV. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar opening up to the dining room that seats 10 comfortably. Enjoy a BBQ meal on the balcony off the kitchen or enjoy a soak in the hot tub on the deck just off the dining room.
On the main level is the first guest bedroom which features a king split bed, so can be a king or twins. There is a separate shared bathroom on this level with a spacious shower and single vanity. The master and other guest bedroom are both located on the top level. The master bedroom features a king bed and sliding door access to a private balcony and direct access to the second shared bathroom. This bathroom features a deep bath with overhead shower and a separate door leading to the hallway. The third bedroom also features a king split bed.
There is parking for one vehicle in a covered place directly in front of the chalet and the chalet offers complimentary wireless internet and in-suite laundry facilities. The free shuttle bus runs past the Stoneridge complex entrance. The chalet is offered self catered or with an excellent half board option.
