Chalet Sofie is ideally and very conveniently located, just 250m from the gondola and close to the shops (supermarket, restaurants, bakery, press tobacco and pharmacy). The tourist office and the ski school are just 200m from the chalet. The chalet offers easy access to the GRAND MASSIF area comprising of 6 resorts: Morillon, Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt with 265km of slopes and offers a beautiful view of the Giffre valley. The chalet is well decorated and everything is designed to maximise your comfort.
The chalet has 8 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a large living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with 2 ovens, a microwave, 2 dishwashers, espresso coffee maker and filter, refrigerator, fondue and raclette set.Bedrooms are 5 queen or king beds, 2 double bunk bedrooms plus a twin bedroom, thus sleeping up to 20 in beds.
In the chalet you have complimentary WIFI internet access and satellite TV in the living room. A laundry room is also at your disposal with a washing machine and dryer as well as a room for your ski boots with a ski boot dryer.
In winter, you can engage in several activities in the valley, as well as skiing, such as ice skating, dog sledding, cross-country skiing and toboggan runs ...
In summer, a leisure centre is located only 500 m from the chalet and offers lake with its beach on the blue lake), equestrian centre, inflatable games, tennis, rafting, mini golf, tree climbing, hiking etc . Catering or a meal delivery option is also possible. A conciergerie is at your disposal and will answer your requests at the chalet.

Fantastic Chalet in a Superb Location!!!
We stayed over February half term 2019 and all twenty of us were skiing for the first time!!! Sophie was fantastic and was able to help us with all our needs. Ski hire, catering, taxis and recommendations of lovely restaurants nearby. The chalet was spotless and had a beautiful kitchen and lounge/diner with breathtaking views over the mountains. All bedrooms were spotless and comfy with en-suite bathrooms. The ping pong table and football table was a big success with the kids too! So close to all amenities we couldn’t have picked a better chalet for our first trip skiing and can’t wait to return!!

Fantastic accommodation
The accommodation is very well equipped and very warm and welcoming. We had a lovely welcome from Sophie and she was easily contactable if we needed to know anything. She is a very friendly lady and very relaxed with her approach. We had a fantastic ski holiday here. We were 19 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. The boot/ ski room is large and has easy access to the outside. The position of the chalet could not be better. There is a little shop within a minute walk selling most of the stuff you would need. The ski lift is about a 3 minute walk. The views from the chalet are lovely. The chalet is also very warm. The kitchen was very we equipped with everything you would need. There was nothing negative about the chalet. We would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed 7 nights in Feb 2022

Perfect stay !
We (12 adults + 2 children) had a wonderfull week: ski (Grand Massif) + recuperation in warm and comfy chalet. Good beds and enough bathrooms. We loved the livingroom + woodfire, and the distance from house to skilift (a few minutes walk, no car needed). The great service before and after was also a big pro. Are we coming back ? Yes, maybe next year allready.
