Excellent 4 bedroom 4 bathroom ski in ski out chalet for up to 8, with spa

Few chalets in La Clusaz are as well located as this one and Chalet Capri is just 50m from the ski lift in the heart of La Clusaz. This ski-in, ski-out duplex apartment for eight is also conveniently just a short walk from all the village's shops, bars and restaurants as well as the shuttle bus, not that you really need it. If driving here just park your car in the garage when you arrive and forget about it until you leave.

Offered on either a self catered or catered basis to suit, this chalet is one of two apartments in a building. It has great views of the pistes and the ESF ski school – you can sit on the terrace and watch your children enjoy their ski lessons! It also overlooks Champ Giguet, which hosts village events throughout the year. This well-appointed apartment also has a gym with a treadmill, weights bench and cross trainer, as well as a sauna, indoor jacuzzi bath and ski room. Groups of up to 16 guests can book the apartment on the ground floor – which also sleeps eight..

This classy chalet is a charming two-storey apartment for eight with four bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms. It also has a small spa area with a sauna, shower and a jacuzzi bath. The entrance to the chalet is on the garage floor, where you'll find a garage and a ski room. There you will find the gym so maybe you can warm up before you head out onto the mountains!!

Take the stairs up to the first floor and the homely, light-filled living area. Two sofas are positioned in front of the welcoming gas fireplace, perfect for cosy nights in and there are glass doors on each side to the terrace and the balcony. The stylish kitchen has all the equipment you need to cater for your group, and there's a breakfast bar where you can grab a quick snack or keep the chef company. When dinner is ready, there's room for everyone to eat together at the dining table, which has bench seating and chairs.
This floor is also where you'll find the jacuzzi and sauna, where you can relax after a busy day in the mountains.

The covered terrace on the west side of the chalet overlooks the village – it's a lovely place to have an early morning coffee and watch the world wake up. On warm evenings you can eat out here and watch the lights come on in the village as the sun goes down. The first of the 4 bedrooms is on this floor – this double room has an en-suite shower room and doors to a balcony. There's also a separate WC on this floor and the relaxing spa area.

Head upstairs to find the rest of the bedrooms, located under the eaves (please refer to the photos). The first bedroom has a double bed and storage under the eaves. It also has a shower and sink. There's another room with a double bed with a desk for remote working and the final bedroom has two single beds and a desk. All of these rooms are tucked under the eaves so have limited headroom. There's also a shower room on this floor and a separate WC. There's room to park one car in the garage and room for two other cars outside.

ABOUT THE AREA...

With the lifts on your doorstep and an Aravis ski pass, you have access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts, so you will never be short of somewhere new to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers at the nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaux.

It's a great location for non-skiers too, with the neighbouring ice-skating rink and a cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls gently around you. There's just as much going on in the summer though too.

Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is always somewhere new to discover.

The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.
