Description
Chalet Bluebell is a large and very spacious chalet sitting in its own grounds. It is located in a convenient position close to all the town's amenities on the Route des Grandes Alpes. Enhanced with stunning alpine scenery and a lovely garden area with barbeque overlooking The Nantaux Mountain it is situated next to the tennis courts and a short 8 minute walk from the center of town. It has recently undergone complete renovation making it a fabulously comfortable, smart all en-suite chalet that is one of the finest homes in the Alps!
Chalet Bluebell has 5 double en suite guest rooms and 2 en suite family rooms, holding a total of 18 guests when full. Each room has a warm, authentic Alpine character and our distinctively large dining room table creates a unique atmosphere at dinner, where many a great tale has been told.
A comfortable lounge on the first floor includes a log burning fire for the chillier days and a flat screen with Free View channels, as well as an extensive selection of DVDs. We serve canapés and pre dinner drinks here every evening before dinner.
Downstairs our games room has a Ping Pong table which goes outside on sunny summer days, and a Sauna to sooth any aches or pains.
Our kitchen is connected to the dining room by a large pass, where any aspiring chefs can learn a trick or two from our highly trained chef!

About Les Gets
The traditional alpine village of Les Gets is situated between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc and is a one hour drive from Geneva airport. At an altitude of 1172 meters with skiing up to 2460 meters Les Gets is one of 12 ski resorts making up the huge ski area of The Portes du Soleil.
Les Gets has a fabulous ‘winter wonderland’ feel during the winter season, with twinkling Christmas lights, flood lit pistes and an outdoor ice skating rink in the town hall square. Each evening bustles with life - children playing in the snow and adults enjoying the après ski and boutique shopping! LES GETS HISTORY
Les Gets retains its traditional Savoyard mountain village soul and a heritage that brims with historic and cultural riches. The name of the village refers to the channels (gittes or giettes in the local dialect) in the forests that were used to send logs rapidly down the hillside during logging work. Les Getois (the locals) hold a strong bond to their Savoyard heritage and this makes Les Gets such a uniquely attractive and friendly place to visit.
Les Gets opened its first chairlift in 1938 and started to develop tourism. The French Ski School ESF originated in Les Gets with its first ski school opening here in 1940. The quality and diversity of the skiing in Les Gets is enough to bring a smile to anyone's face.
LES GETS SHOPPING AND FACILITIES
Les Gets has a central shopping street that offers an array of boutiques and outdoor shops, as well as a selection of bars and traditional restaurants. On Thursday mornings there is a market selling local produce and souvenirs and there are two supermarkets, banks and a pharmacy/ perfumery. Typical French bakeries sell freshly baked bread and cakes and the town brims with Savoyard shops that sell local cured meats and cheeses.

Our chef has one night off per week that gives guests the opportunity to indulge in one of the many restaurants in Les Gets. From Indian restaurants to traditional Savoyard restaurants, there is an abundance of choice for an enjoyable evening out.
