Our Catered Chalet Service:
Along with the superb accommodation it is the excellent chalet service and delicious meals provided by your chalet hosts that will ensure you have a memorable holiday for all the right reasons. Food is a very important part of your ski chalet holiday and we take a great deal of pride and pleasure in serving you a great selection of culinary delights.
Breakfast, usually served between 8am and 9.30am, consists of a daily cooked special (bacon & eggs, pancakes, scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict etc), 6 out of 7 days, complemented by a buffet spread, including fruit juice, a selection of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, croissants and freshly baked bread. (buffet spread provided on staff day off).
Afternoon tea will be laid out for you every day to help yourselves on your return from the ski slopes. Freshly baked cake, bread and jam, tea and coffee or if you prefer a beer or soft drink from the honesty bar, will provide a welcome stop gap before dinner.
Dinner will be served at about 8 pm. We serve three courses 6 out of 7 nights, accompanied by our good quality house wines. Dinner is followed by a local cheese board and tea or coffee in the sitting room by the fire. We also cater for vegetarians and vegans and will do our best to cater for guests with special dietary requirements such as allergies (please do let us know at time of booking).
As well as an exceptional meal you can expect to find your bed made and the bathroom spotless on your return from the ski slopes at the end of each day. We offer a mid week towel change.
During a week stay, there will be a staff day off when breakfast & afternoon tea will still be laid out for you & you would then have the opportunity to sample the local restaurants in the evening.
Childrens Meals - After a long day skiing, kids often can't wait until 8pm to eat and you may want to enjoy your dinner, children-free, so we are happy to offer children's meals at an earlier time, usually served about 6pm.
