Chalet Val V is a 5 bedroom, 120m2 apartment in the Val 2400 building which consists of a total of 27 apartments, well located on the upper edge of Val Thorens. The excellent location means guests can enjoy a wondrous alpine panorama, all just a few metres from the resort centre, 300m away and just 50m the closest piste, making it possible to ski right up to the building. Not just the chalet itself, but also the inside furnishings of the apartment are true to typical regional style, providing a cosy, quaint atmosphere. At the heart of the apartment, is a comfortable living area, featuring an open-plan kitchen, comfortable seating, a wood burning stove and a flat screen TV. The apartment also includes, as standard, free wireless internet access, a balcony and ski and boot room. For sleeping there are 2 double and 3 twin bedrooms, plus 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
Residents of the complex also have a large in-house sauna and steam room at their disposal and the Red Fox pub, which serves drinks, snacks and take away food plus a ski shop offering ski rentals. Guests are greeted with freshly made-up beds upon arrival, and are also provided with fresh hand towels, which are changed once mid-stay, as well as one initial free bag of firewood. A particular plus-point is guests' ability to simply loan various items from reception free of charge, including baby cots, high chairs and raclette/fondue sets. Fresh bread can also be pre-ordered here for collection the following morning, saving guests the hassle of having to leave the building for breakfast supplies, though the chalet apartment is also offered on a catered half board basis, a contactless catered basis or self catered to suit.
