Chalet Flo is a bright and spacious chalet built to a very good specification in a quiet yet convenient area of Morzine, on Route de la Plagne. It is a contemporary chalet with traditional features, with a lovely open plan kitchen/dining area with wood stove and separate comfortable lounge on the first floor, both leading to a south-facing balcony, wonderful for relaxing and enjoying the sun and mountain views. On the ground floor, there is a welcoming hot tub and steam room to unwind and a second lounge with TV, games and table football.
The 13 en suite bedrooms are furnished in typical alpine style with wood panelling and comfortable furnishings, with most having a balcony or terrace. All the bedrooms have twin beds, two have a further bed, for three and two bedrooms have a mezzanine with two additional twin beds, ideal for families with older children (not suitable for young children as accessed by a steep open tread staircase). Rooms 3 and 4 have an interconnecting door, also ideal for families or friends.
The Flo is located about 800 metres (or a 10 min walk) from the closest bars, such as the lively Brit-run ‘Sherpa’ bar which is a good apres-ski pub. The start of the main strip of restaurants and bars is about 1 mile or a 15 minute walk from the chalet. The popular Super Morzine and Pleney ski lifts are also about one mile away, but most guests will take the free resort ski bus which stops right outside the chalet, 50m away and will whisk you to the lifts and centre in under 5 minutes. Daytime buses run (approx.) every 20 mins during peak season with a break at lunch and about every 30 mins in the evening. On request we can offer a private transfer service to and from the lifts at the start and end of the day.
The chalet can be offered on a catered basis, subject to us having a chef available or you can self cater, or we can offer a “delivered” catered service where 2 or 3 course meals, from a menu are pre cooked and delivered for you to re heat and eat, together with wine and beer, cutting the need for carrying heavy bags.
