Chalet Diane is a 7 bedroom chalet located right on the ski slopes in Alpe d'Huez, giving you easy access to all of the Grand Domaine ski are. Situated in the Chalets de l'Altiport area you can ski-in, ski-out and at the same time you are only a short walk (about 15-20 mins) from the centre of the Alpe d'Huez resort, where numerous bars, restaurants and shops can be found, as well as a swimming pool, leisure centre, ice rink and cinema. There is also a free bus service to bring you to the centre for your evenings out.
Beginners can ski from the Altiport area on the gentle slopes at the foot of the mountain while more experience skiers can head straight to the Les Bergers ski lifts which gives access to the more challenging areas.
Located over 2 floors, the charming Chalet Diane (200m²) offers plenty of space and can comfortably sleep up to 14 people. Furnished in typical Savoyard style there is a large living area with fireplace, fully equipped American kitchen, 7 bedrooms with bathroom and toilet, a south-facing terrace, private sauna and parking. A charming and peaceful base, ski direct from your front door to the gentle slopes bordering the resort, which are ideal for beginners. More experienced skiers can venture straight out to the lifts at Les Bergers, giving you direct access to the larger Alpe d'Huez ski area.
This three-floored, 195-200m² chalet consists of a large living room with a fireplace, television, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, hot plates, traditional oven and microwave, extractor fan and refrigerator.
There are seven bedrooms (one or two of which are on the ground floor) with one double bed or two single beds with a shower room and toilet. Another bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom and toilet (some have separate toilets), there are also two bedrooms with three single beds and bathroom or shower room and toilet. There is also a sauna and terrace.
Beautifully furnished, each of the chalets are decorated in the traditional Savoyarde style, with large fireplaces, wood and stone interiors and deep colours giving the rooms a warm feel. There is plenty of space in all of the rooms, with a large open-plan living area with a fireplace and satellite television.
An American kitchen with all the modern amenities, including hotplates, an oven and a microwave oven, a dishwasher, extractor fan and fridge, plus all crockery and pans, allows guests to cook and eat as and when they should want. The chalets offer guests total comfort and space, sleeping up to 16 people, with multiple en-suite bathrooms and toilets. Each of the chalets offers its own private balcony or terrace providing panoramic views of the mountains plus a private sauna in which to unwind.
