Chalet 42 is in the chalet village area of Hameau de la Sapinière, which sits in the Reberty area, right above the centre of Les Menuires, separated from the shops, restaurants, ski lift stations and ski schools by a distance of less than 500m. The ESF ski school children's ski garden can be reached via a footpath (10-minute walk) or by using the free resort shuttle bus which stops 150m from the residence and takes you to the main centre at 'La Croisette'. Situated at the top of the ski runs and a ski over or just a few minutes walk from the ski lift itself, the Hameau de la Sapinière complex offers its guests the ideal combination of a quiet location, coupled with breathtaking views across to the mountain massif of "La Masse". Several extensive chalet buildings, sympathetically built as per local architectural techniques, house a selection of quality and generously-furnished apartments.
In all apartments, some of which are duplexes, guests can expect a warm and tasteful atmosphere, as well as a flat screen TV, safe, balcony and dedicated locker. This apartment features an open fireplace and a private sauna. Additionally from 16:00-19:00, every day except for Saturdays, guests have the use of the "wellness" area which includes 2 saunas, a steam bath, a jacuzzi and a quiet room, for a small fee. At the very heart of the residence lies the in-house restaurant "La table de Montalys", which tempts guests with a warm and welcoming atmopshere, along with a range of regional savoyard delicacies. The culinary experience is rounded off by specials kids' menus or special "arrival day" menus.
All prices includes final cleaning of all areas except for the kitchen, as well as WiFi access and one bag of firewood. Further supplies of wood can be obtained from reception. Further additional equipment, such as high chairs, baby cots and bath tubs, DVD players, hair dryers, raclette and fondue sets, irons and blenders can be hired out to guests free of charge. The available charged extras include open-air, covered and underground car parking, as well as a bread delivery or catering service.
