Vaujany is situated at an altitude of around 1,250m and is part of the large Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski resort. It's part of one of the largest skiing area in France. Thanks to 240 km of pistes, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can find a piste that meets their needs. The name 'Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine' has replaced the previous title 'Les Grandes Rousses'. Vaujany's own skiing area, with its wonderful pistes and authentic inns, is also worthwhile.
During the summer it's also vibrant with mountain sports activities; there are many hiking and cycling routes. The Alpe d'Huez is primarily known for the beautiful competition that takes place here during the Tour de France. Enjoy the warm sun in the Alps and the beautiful views from the different terraces.
