Col du Corbier sits at 1,230–1,237m in the Chablais mountains, giving it a true mountain climate with four distinct seasons.
• Summers are pleasantly warm, fresh, and sunny—ideal for hiking, biking, and panoramic viewpoints. Temperatures stay comfortable thanks to the altitude, and the air is crisp and clean.
• Winters are cold and snowy, with reliable snow cover that transforms the pass into a peaceful alpine playground for families, snowshoeing, ski touring, and gentle first‑snow experiences.
• The climate overall is defined as montagnard—cooler than the valleys below, with rapid weather changes and beautifully clear skies after snowfall.
This makes Col du Corbier a year‑round destination for nature lovers seeking calm, fresh air, and authentic mountain atmosphere.
