The ski apartments at Les Balcons are situated right at the top of the resort, close to the slopes and 500m from the centre. The chalets are south facing with spectacular panoramic views and are close to the slopes, 200m away. Intermediates and experts can ski in and out of the residence whilst less experienced skiers can use the free shuttle, or return to the residence on foot.
This large residence comprises 6 chalet buildings and the apartments are decorated in the traditional Savoy style. They also have a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a whirlpool bath. There are a range of apartment types sleeping from two up to eighteen people, ideal for groups of families or friends.
The apartments boast a range of amenities including reception with welcoming lounge area, ski room, a luggage room. There are two spa options in the complex; the Thalgo Spa offers five massage rooms, a relaxation area and a range of beauty treatments and massages (payable locally) and the Spa by Les Balcons de Val Thorens has an indoor swimming area with fantastic views of the valley, two relaxation areas, 4 hot tub's, 3 sauna's and a hammam. The residence also has two restaurants on site, L'Auberge des Balcons restaurant and bar. Your excellent half board option is normally taken at L'Auberge.
As for this 60M2 apartment then you have a well equipped kitchen, open plan to the living and dining area, 2 x bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds, plus a further mezzanine area sleeping another 2. If 8 of you there is a sleeper sofa in the living area but we recommend thats more used more in an emergency.There is then a bathroom with a whirlpool bath, plus a second bathroom with a shower room and separate WC and a balcony overlooking the resort, this being ideal for a family of up to 6 with no one sleeping in the living area.
