Oz-en-Oisans is a charming, family-friendly Alpine village in the heart of the vast Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine ski area. With direct lift access to Alpe d’Huez, guests can enjoy over 250km of pistes, including everything from gentle beginner slopes to challenging high-altitude runs and the famous 16km Sarenne descent.
In winter, there is plenty to enjoy beyond downhill skiing and snowboarding, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing and scenic winter walks. The resort has ski schools, equipment hire, restaurants and bars, while the direct lift connection makes it easy to explore Alpe d’Huez and the surrounding mountain villages.
During the summer, Oz-en-Oisans becomes an excellent base for walking, hiking and mountain biking. The area is particularly famous for road cycling, with legendary Tour de France climbs including the 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez, the Col du Glandon and Col de la Croix de Fer nearby.
