About Les Coches
Chalet Chamois is in Les Coches, which is one of the village resorts of La Plagne. It is right in the middle of the Paradiski (La Plagne and Les Arcs) so you get to ski 435kms of piste on one lift pass.
Chalet Chamois is on the piste in Les Coches in La Plagne. Les Coches is a lovely, family-friendly resort with bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance from the chalet (down a footpath, taking about 7 minutes).
The skiing in La Plagne is fantastic. From the chalet you ski down to 'Plan Bois' chairlift. From there, you can then ski to La Plagne or take the 'Vanoise Express' cable car to Les Arcs.
For any nervous skiers, as the chalet is on the piste, there is also a free shuttle bus that goes down to Les Coches centre.
As the chalet is on the piste, you can rent skis, snowboards and helmets from a company called Rental Republic, who will come to the chalet and fit you there - so no need to queue up in a shop.
Montchavin Les Coches has gained the coveted ‘Famille+’ label due to its family-friendly features – traffic-free centres; childcare; entertainment and non-skiing activities such as yoga, husky-rides, snow-shoe walking and the Espace Paradisio, a swimming pool and spa complex.
