Chalet Sundance is a beautiful chalet in Tignes les Brevieres at 1550m. It has a great location with stunning mountain views and outdoor hot tub and sauna on the terrace. Comfortably sleeps 12 guests in 5 bedrooms (1 is a large suite), all of which have ensuite bath/shower rooms. 125 metres to lift to main lifts, 275 metres to resort centre, delicious four course evening meals with wine included, outdoor hot tub, outdoor barrel sauna, log fire, free WIFI internet, heated ski boot warmers, UK TV, large lounge with separate dining room, 10 stay for price of 10, 12 stay for price of 11.

Chalet Sundance has a beautiful lounge with roaring two-sided log fire and a wonderful atmosphere, perfect for relaxed evenings.

Four large sofas provide plenty of comfortable seating. Large windows offer stunning views over the village, lake and mountains. French doors from the lounge and the dining room lead onto the South facing terrace, equipped with outdoor table and chairs.

Chalet Sundance has a beautiful dining room set off from the lounge, with an impressive dining table which comfortably seats 12 people. Tea and coffee making facilities are always available for guests.

The entrance hall of the chalet has a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin plus hanging for coats and storage for shoes and gloves.

CHALET SUNDANCE BEDROOMS & ENSUITES

Chalet Sundance has 5 bedrooms, all of which have ensuite facilities. All bedrooms can be made up as kings or twins. Beds are made up with crisp sheets, duvets and pillows. Soft bath towels, hand towels & hot tub robes are provided.

Bedroom 1 "Ibex": King-size bed or 2 single beds with full height window with spectacular South facing view over the village, lake and mountains. Blackout shutter. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 2 "Chamois": King-size bed or 2 single beds with full height window with spectacular South facing view over the village, lake and mountains. Blackout shutter. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 3 "Mountain Hare": King-size bed or 2 single beds with full height window with spectacular South facing view over the village, lake and mountains. Blackout shutter. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 4 "Marmot": King-size bed or 2 single beds with window with mountains view and skylight in sloping ceiling. Ensuite shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Bedroom 5 "Mouflon" (sleeps 4): King-size bed or 2 single beds, plus double sofa bed, with South and North facing windows with spectacular views over the village, lake and mountains. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, double washbasin and toilet.

About Tignes Les Brevieres

Chalet Sundance is situated in Tignes Les Brevieres at an altitude of 1550 metres. Tignes Les Brevieres is a high altitude resort and has an excellent snow record. Thanks to it’s altitude and the aspect of it’s slopes, it has always been possible to ski from and back to the village all winter (from mid December to the last week of April) for all of the 14 years we have been in Tignes. Tignes Les Brevieres is well linked with all the other Tignes resorts, and neighbouring Val D’Isère.

The chalet has a great location 125 metres from a short bubble lift on a monorail which takes you to the main lift and the foot of the beginner slope (Pitots), a blue slope (Myrtilles), a red slope (Pavot) and a black slope (the infamous Sache). A brand new, fast 8 person bubble lift (Brevieres Telecabine, new for 2018/19) whisks you (3 minutes) to the Boisses Telecabine in Tignes 1800 linking (6 minutes) with two chairlifts (fastest is 8 mins), both giving access to Tignes Le Lac via a blue slope (Rhododendron then Petit Col) or a red slope (Bluets). The new Brevieres Telecabine connects Tignes Les Brevieres with Tignes Les Boisses and it’s beginner slope. At the end of the day you can take the short bubble lift on a monorail from the main lift station to within 125 metres of Chalet Sundance.

Tignes Les Brevieres is linked to other Tignes villages during the day by a brand new gondola (Brevieres) then a free resort shuttle bus from Tignes 1800, meaning non skiers can get around independently.

The chalet is 275 metres from the centre of Tignes Les Brevieres where you will find cafes, bars, restaurants, a supermarket, bakery, newsagents, post office, cash machine, tourist office, ski school and ski and snowboard shops.

We have 3 free covered car parking spaces for Chalet Sundance just 50 metres from the chalet (height restrictions apply).

Tignes Les Brevieres is a charming village with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. In the heart of the village are cafes, bars, restaurants, food store, bakery, newsagent, post office, cash machine, tourist office, ski school, ski shops, a weekly market and a spa with jacuzzi, massages & treatments. Other activities in Tignes include ice driving, horse riding, husky sledding, paragliding, snow mobiling, swimming and ice skating.

Tignes Les Brevieres is a high altitude resort and has an excellent snow record. Thanks to it’s altitude and the aspect of it’s slopes, during the 14 years we have been operating in Tignes it has always been possible to ski from and back to the village all winter (mid Dec to last week of April).

SKI LIFTS & SLOPES
A brand new, fast 8 person bubble lift (Brevieres Telecabine, new in 2018) whisks you to the Boisses Telecabine in Tignes 1800 linking with two chairlifts, both giving access to Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Le Lavachet via a blue slope (Rhododendron then Petit Col) or a red slope (Bluets). The new Brevieres Telecabine connects the village with Tignes 1800 and it’s beginner slope with covered magic carpet.

To return to Tignes Les Brevieres from Tignes 2100, one fast chairlift gives access via a choice of one blue slope, two red slopes or a black slope – something for everyone! Or if you are all skied out then you can take free bus and free bubble lift down.

APRES SKI TIGNES LES BREVIERES
Tignes Les Brevieres has a lively and varied apres ski scene. Finish your skiing day with a beer or vin chaud at La Bouida at the foot of the slopes. For live football and rugby head to The Boot Room. For a game of pool head to the French Bar Le Geant or for a relaxed drink head to the Overground Bar. If you want to party, the British run Le Moose or Bootroom both stay open late. Tignes Les Brevieres has five restaurants, all serving local specialities such as Raclettes, Pierrade and Fondues, plus favourites such as pizza or steak. Our favourite restaurant is L’Armailly, near the foot of the slopes.

LIFT & BUS LINKS TIGNES LES BREVIERES
Tignes Les Brevieres is linked to other Tignes villages during the day by a brand new gondola (Brevieres) then a free resort shuttle bus from Tignes 1800, meaning non skiers can get around independently. During winter 2018/19 this was open 2 evenings per weeks and the lift operators plan to open this for more evenings during winter 2019/20. Tignes Le Lac, Tignes Le Lavachet and Tignes Val Claret (collectively know as Tignes 2100) are purpose built resorts with large apartment buildings with a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. In Tignes Le Lac there is a swimming centre with two pools.
