Our Chalet apartment is located in the village of Les Houches, Chamonix France. Chamonix sits at the foot of Mont Blanc Mountain Range in the French Alps and is one of the premier skiing destinations in Europe with excellent skiing conditions and facilities.
With some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe, the Chamonix valley is an ideal location for almost all types of outdoor activity including walkers, mountain climbers, cyclists and golfers of all abilities.
Les Houches is ideal for families and beginners but also offers the Black Kandahar Downhill run and skiing in Chamonix with the Valley Blanc Off piste Route
There are plenty of restaurants on the slopes of Les Houches and in the village about 50 metres from the apartment
Chalet Whymper is situated in the main village of Les Houches. Approx 50 metres and a 2 minute walk to the main chair lift & cable car

The Patio doors from the lounge take you on the balcony overlooking the Famous Kandahar Downhill Ski Run. Plus superb views of the LES HOUCHES Valley from the Private Balcony.

Chamonix France has a whole host of things that will attract you to come here including plenty for the non-skier to do. In the beautiful vibrant town, charm and tradition are mixed with modern resort facilities.

About Les Houches
Les Houches is the regular venue for Chamonix World Cup Downhill but is in fact well suited to families, beginners and intermediates, with easy runs at the top of the mountain.
The 70 kilometres of almost entirely wooded slopes form the biggest single area of prepared runs in the Chamonix valley. The slopes are normally quiet and the views superb from the several attractive mountain restaurants. For the more daring the resort possesses 3 ski jumps!
