About Borovets
Borovets has 58km of ski pistes with a good selection of runs from nursery slopes through to black runs with lots of blue and red runs for intermediates and families. As well as skiing there is also snowboarding, cross-country skiing, night skiing, snow mobiles and horse riding on offer. I
n the summer Borovets is a fantastic place with many outdoor activities available including hiking, climbing, mountain biking, fishing, horse-riding and paragliding to name but a few with temperatures on average in the 70ºf / 20º.
A car is not necessary in the winter as there is a great shuttle bus running every half hour or so between the chalet complex and Borovets/ski lifts but in the summer a car is recommended.

There are a wide range of things to do in the evening in Borovets, including bars, restaurants, dancing and karaoke!! There are plenty of good quality venues, offering both local and international cuisine, with a good atmosphere and as with most things in the area, the prices are very reasonable. We would recommend you get recommendations from the chalet owners or the staff at the complex for where to go.
