Just 250m from the ski lift and piste and almost next door to the Tourist Office , you'll never be short of something to do! !
As well as being perfectly placed for the outdoor life being located on Route du Palais des Sports, Chalet Bella is just a short walk from all the bars, restaurants and shops of St Martin, so when you get back from an active day in the mountains, you don't have far to go to enjoy the evening. A five-minute walk will bring you to the heart of village life, as well as the tourist office.
About the property ...
Spread over 4 floors you'll enter the chalet via the ski room with laundry facilities(washer and dryer) - you can store your skis here and pop your boots on the heated rack before heading up to the living area. There's also a double bedroom on this floor with plenty of storage, a wall-mounted TV, a double en suite with a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.
The welcoming living area is on the first floor - the contemporary and well equipped open-plan kitchen has a large six-ring ceramic hob (stovetop), an oven and and two dishwashers - great when you have finished cooking for a crowd. There's also a fridge freezer, a microwave, two coffee machines and two raclettes.
The large dining table, which has plenty of room for everyone to eat together, separates this from the cosy seating area, where comfortable sofas are arranged around the wall-mounted TV. Doors open from here on to the sunny balcony, which has views over the river to the village and mountains beyond.
There's another bedroom on this floor - a spacious double room with good storage, a TV and an adjacent bathroom. This bedroom opens on to the balcony - a great place to start your day with a coffee.
You'll find three more bedrooms on the next floor. The first room has two single beds, the next also has twin beds and the third has a double bed and all en suite.
There's plenty of parking right outside the chalet - a real plus for a chalet that's so close to all the facilities of Morzine, but in such a great location, you will probably just park up your car and forget about it for the duration of your stay.
About the area ...
The gondola and ski school are less than a five-minute walk away, as is the centre of the village, with a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
Chalet Bella is a great base from which to explore the 3 Valleys. With over 650km of pistes, almost 250 lifts and a huge choice of cross-country skiing, you’ll never be bored of this winter sports paradise.
If you’re not a skier, or if you fancy a change from the slopes, you can try snowmobiling, ice-diving, or tandem paragliding. If you’d rather discover the area in a more sedate manner, try a sleigh ride.
Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging and just a short walk from the chalet offers a variety of tree-top activities for all ages.
When the snow melts, the slopes around St Martin becomes a haven for walkers, mountain bikers and thrill-seekers - and the lifts will transport you and your bike up the mountains, leaving you to come back down at your leisure.
