Chalet Grizzli is a stunning, newly-built boutique chalet in the heart of the Paradiski and located right by the ski lift. The chalet is offered on a self-catering basis during the spring and summer, and fully catered with a professional chef and a chalet host during the winter ski season.
Chalet Grizzli is beautifully designed over 4 floors, combining a stylish blend of local stone, alpine timber and luxurious decor to create a chic yet contemporary feel. Each of the 5 bedrooms (4 double/twins and 1 x family room with a bunkbed) have a view of Mont Blanc and the ensuite bathrooms are bright and modern.
On the third floor, there is a spacious kitchen, dining and lounge area, which features a full width balcony with great views, perfect for catching the sunset after a day's skiing. There are plenty of comfortable sofas arranged around the fireplace.
Chalet Grizzli has an outdoor hot tub on the roof terrace, where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly and gaze out at the stars. Guests in the spring time can enjoy spending time in the private garden at the back of the chalet. Unusually for a ski resort, the chalet also comes with secure underground parking - perfect if you want to self-drive.
Situated in Montchavin, which together with Les Coches makes Montchavin La Plagne, (one of the 10 resorts that make up La Plagne), Chalet Grizzli is opposite the Evolution2 shop (ideal for ski school and ski hire); next to the 'Les Coches' bubble and a few minutes walk from the resort centre with its shops, restaurants and bars.
There is secure underground car parking (2 spots) plus everything else you'd expect form a top-end chalet holiday - free wifi, roaring log-fire and plenty of comfy sofas.
CATERED
During the winter ski season, the chalet is managed by Alpine365, a tour operator in its 15th year. We are the only company in Montchavin La-Plagne to only employ professional chefs with restaurant experience, and over the last 10 years, we have had the pleasure of employing chefs who have worked with Michelin starred chefs like Raymond Blanc; appeared on Masterchef the Professionals, and others that worked in fine dining establishments across the world. We provide restaurant quality, gourmet dining at affordable prices - and quantities to satisfy hungry skiers and snowboarders.
Chalet Grizzli comes with a professional chef & host, who look after the guests with breakfast, afternoon tea and 4-course dinners, with complimentary wine at dinner. Alpine365 organises transfers from airports or train stations, ski lessons, lift passes and ski hire.
LOCATION
Chalet Grizzli is based in Montchavin in La Plagne and is in a great location. It’s right opposite the Evolution2 shop (ideal for ski school and ski hire) and right by the ‘Les Coches’ cable car so very easy access to ski school meeting points (you can see the lift from the lounge window!) It is a very short and easy stroll into the family-friendly resort centre of Montchavin with its shops, restaurants and bars. There is secure underground car parking (2 spots) – so no need to spend all morning clearing snow off your car when you leave!
SUMMER
During the summer and out of season months, the chalet is also available self-catered. Montchavin is a wonderful place to visit in the winter - plenty of mountain biking, walking, paragliding, swimming and relaxing!
