Description
Nestled in the trees, chalet Le Torrent lies a snowball's throw from the ski run and offers fantastic views across the valley. The large, open plan, lounge and dining area has a huge roaring fire, and leads out onto the large terrace that surrounds the chalet, and on sunny days is the perfect place to enjoy your afternoon tea, whilst watching people ski past. There are 6 en-suite bedrooms with either super-king or twin beds, all with feather duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. The chalet boasts a large hot tub, in a fantastic position next to the babbling (or frozen) river.
Situated next to the Gros Murger button lift, so is ski-to-door depending on ski level and time of year. It is a short walk to the nearest piste (150m) and a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

Chalet Le Torrent Catering:
We want you to enjoy everyday of your ski holiday, and this begins with the most important meal, breakfast. You will be offered a selection of cereals, teas, yoghurts and preserves with freshly baked croissant, along with a special cooked option. After a long day on the slopes, return to the chalet to a wonderful cake or home-made biscuits.
The real dining experience begins in the evening, where canapés will be served with drinks by the fire, followed by an unforgettable, beautifully prepared 5-7 course meal.
We work with our chefs, and a local sommelier each season to find the perfect wine to match the main event of each evening’s meal. We are exceptionally
proud of our wine selection, which also extends to a choice of delicious house wines. At any time during your stay, if there is something that you cannot live
without then let us know and we will do our best to get it for you.

Skiing in La Tania - 3 Valleys
La Tania is, in our opinion, a well kept secret. It still retains its natural charm and, being part of the Three Valleys, it is not only the largest ski area in the world, it also boasts some of the best skiing. La Tania is set in a beautiful pine forest mid way between the Valleys of Courchevel and Meribel.
La Tania is one of the 13 resorts that make up 'les trois Vallées', the largest linked ski area in the world.
It offers over 600km of groomed piste, from wide open gentle greens and blues to blacks and couloirs, there is plenty of skiing available for all abilities.
The Three valleys has the largest network of snow cannons in the world, so you can be assured good snow conditions whenever in the season you choose to ski.
With all this talk of skiing there is still plenty for the non-skier to do.
Treat yourself to a little retail therapy in nearby Meribel or Courchevel 1850, and with a free bus operating between the resorts, it’s easy to get about and do a little sight-seeing.
Or for the more energetic of you there are organized snowshoe walks of the mountains and forests.
Perhaps you just fancy ice-skating, swimming, go-karting, huskie-sledging or tobogganing?
Bars & Restaurants in La Tania:
Although La Tania is a small resort, it has a great selection of bars and restaurants, enough to keep you entertained for the week.
If you did want to go further afield on chalet staff night off then there are lovely restaurants (some of our favourites) in nearby Le Praz, and lively bars in Meribel and Courchevel. Those looking for Savoyarde food will not be disappointed in La Tania, with Les Marmottons offering everything from Pizza to Fondue and La Taiga which offers traditional Savoyarde food along with modern classics.
For a finer-dining experience there are 2 local Michelin star restaurants, Le Farcon in La Tania, and Azimut in Le Praz.
The place to be in La Tania is Pub Le Ski Lodge, with great après and band nights. Further afield you will find La Boulotte in Courchevel 1650 and Le Rond Point in Meribel, as some of the more renowned bars!
