Chalet Bluebird was listed in the Times - Best European Ski Chalets!
Chalet Bluebird is a sophisticated, gorgeous chalet for up to 12 people, with stunning mountain views, including the impressive Mont Blanc. The 5 bedrooms (all of which can be made into either a double or twin) are light and airy, each with a magnificent mountain view and a modern ensuite bathroom (4 showers, one bath).
The large open-plan dining room, lounge and kitchen is on the 3rd floor with mountain views from the full-width balcony. Guests can enjoy restaurant-quality dining at the long wooden table, prepared by a professional chef; and there are plenty of comfortable sofas to choose from, all arranged cosily around the fireplace.
You will find the private, outdoor hot tub on the roof terrace, where you can soothe your body after a hard ski (hopefully following a bluebird day!), with a glass of Prosecco from the chalet bar.
The entrance hall has bootwarmers to ensure your ski boots are toasty warm in the mornings, and a lockable ski locker outside the front door for boards and skis.
There is also a very handy secure underground car park (2 free parking places) with convenient lift access to the chalet, ideal for anyone that wants to self-drive.
CATERED - PROFESSIONAL CHEF!
During the winter ski season, the chalet is managed by Alpine365, a tour operator in its 18th year. We are the only company in Montchavin La-Plagne to only employ professional chefs with restaurant experience, and over the years, we have had the pleasure of employing chefs who have worked with Michelin starred chefs like Raymond Blanc; appeared on Masterchef the Professionals, and others that worked in fine dining establishments across the world. We provide restaurant quality, gourmet dining at affordable prices - and quantities to satisfy hungry skiers and snowboarders.
Chalet Bluebird comes with a professional chef & host, who look after the guests with breakfast, afternoon tea and 4-course dinners, with complimentary wine at dinner. Alpine365 organises transfers from airports or train stations, ski lessons, lift passes and ski hire.
LOCATION
Chalet Bluebird is based in Montchavin in La Plagne and is in a great location. It’s right opposite the Evolution2 shop (ideal for ski school and ski hire) and right by the ‘Les Coches’ cable car so very easy access to ski school meeting points. It is a very short and easy stroll into the family-friendly resort centre of Montchavin with its shops, restaurants and bars. There is secure underground car parking (2 spots) – so no need to spend all morning clearing snow off your car when you leave!
SUMMER
During the summer and out of season months, the chalet is also available self-catered. Montchavin is a wonderful place to visit in the summer - plenty of mountain biking, walking, paragliding, swimming and relaxing!
