Ski Accommodation in Austria
Whichever resort you land on, Austria has a wide selection of different ski accommodation to suit all group sizes and budgets. As always, traditional ski chalets are the most popular, but at the upper end of the market you can also look at ski apartments if you prefer a more modern place to stay.
Both catered and self-catered accommodation is available across Austria, allowing you to sample the local food and wine, or get stuck into cooking with friends and family.
Catered chalets come with all the luxuries you would expect from a high-quality ski holiday, and depending on the chalet you book the facilities can include private shuttles, complimentary ski guiding, heated pools, hot tubs and more.
If self-catered ski accommodation is more to your taste, many Austrian ski chalets are available on a self-catering basis, which often helps to reduce overall costs. Self-catering chalets are ideally suited to larger groups of friends and family, where there’s plenty of people willing to cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchens. You can also opt to share a chalet with other like-minded skiers, presenting a great opportunity to make new friends.
